South Georgia USA Softball will be hosting an USA Softball 18u A National Qualifier for GEORGIA Teams.


  One berth will be given to USA Softball 18u A Nationals.

Date: May 20 & 21, 2017
Site: Southern Pines Softball Complex
Dublin, GA
Entry fee: $425
Format: Double elimination
Spectator Entry Fee will not be charged.  Each team will pay a $125 "GATE FEE" instead.

BLIND DRAW WILL BE HELD BY TY RIETKOVICH,  USA SOFTBALL GEORGIA DEPUTY JO COMMISSIONER

Teams can begin checking-in at 7:00 AM Saturday morning.

Coaches need to bring their ACE card and photo ID to check in. Coaches will use ASA ID and ACE Card for Entry to the park. Coaches must show PHOTO ID card to be admitted.

All teams will be required to have individual ASA registration cards at the time of team check-in and their signed ASA roster form.

Per Georgia ASA guideline any team that withdraws after May 13, but before 3PM the day of the draw, will receive a refund for the entry fee minus a $100 administration fee. Any team that withdraws after 3 PM on Friday May 12, 2017 will not receive any refund, Any team that has entered and received a berth prior to the event, MUST notify us in writing via e-mail of their withdraw to receive a full refund. Teams that win berth are NOT required to withdraw.

TEAM CHECK IN WILL TAKE PLACE!  EACH TEAM WILL NEED A COPY OF THEIR ASA ROSTER AND EACH PLAYER WILL HAVE TO HAVE THEIR ASA CARD.  COACHES NEED TO SHOW ACE CERTIFICATION AS WELL.  ONLY COACHES WITH ACE CERTIFICATION WILL BE GIVEN ADMISSION PASSES.

EVERY QUALIFIER HAS THE POSSIBILITY TO BE AFFECTED BY WEATHER! It looks like a rainy spring in the South and we are going to expect the same and plan accordingly. Therefore, teams MUST plan to play on Saturday and Sunday. We will draw brackets based on the number of entries. Then we will blind draw teams into slots in those brackets.


All games will be played at the Southern Pines Softball Complex in Dublin, GA


Roster's will be held until teams are eliminated or win berth.  As teams are eliminated, they are required to stop by and pick up rosters.

2017 Spectator Admission to the park will be covered in a team "GATE FEE" of $125 that is due 72 hours prior to the start of the event.  
NO EXCEPTIONS!  This will save teams overall money over individual admission charges and alleviate arguments over scorekeepers, assistant coaches and "if" children are under age.

ANY TEAM THAT REGISTERS AND THEN SECURES A BERTH IN A PRIOR QUALIFIER WILL BE WITHDRAWN AND RECEIVE A FULL REFUND.
